HAT Journals
What is a HAT Journal?
A HAT Journal is a collection of reflective thoughts and conclusions drawn from a specific reading. H represents "huh," as in something not well understood or even a question drawn from critical thinking. A stands for "Aha!" as in something from the text which was a new idea or concept to your previous knowledge. And T is for "transfer," meaning what part of the reading did you take away?
